Don't forget leg day! When you work outs, you need to focus on all parts of the body. Tired of the same old exercises to get them legs nice and toned? Here are some really awesome workouts to make those caves, quads, and hamstrings burn. Stay motivated and stay positive!
Tip-toe Walking - For the first workout, you are going to want to grab a pair of heavy dumbbells of your choosing that feels comfortable. Hold them down at arm's length by your hips, and stand on your tippy toes like a ballerina, and walk either in a circle or straight for a total time of a minute. Take a short break after and then start again.
Swiss Ball Hip Raises - For this one you will need a Swiss ball. Lie flat on the ground having your knees bent and your feet on top of the Swiss ball. Next you are going to want to lift your hips so that your body is parallel to your knees. At this position you are going to want to lift one of your knees to your chest keeping your body steady, bringing it back and switching to your next knee. Keep alternating your legs back and forth for the best results.
Single Leg Squats - Stand up and hold your arms directly in front of your body at your shoulder level. Now you are going to want to raise your right leg off the floor, once you do this, lower your body as far as you are able to. Hold this for a splint second and then push yourself back up to starting position. Now raise your right leg and repeat this maneuver. Alternate for 15 reps each leg, or whatever is comfortable for you.
Dumbbell Walks - For this exercise you are going to want to grab a pair of dumbbells that are good enough for you. Hold them down at arm's length by your sides. Put your left foot forward until you are in a staggered stance in a split squat. Push your left foot off the floor with great force until you are up standing straight. Now place your right foot forward and repeat the same maneuver. Do this from one side of the room to another and in no time, your legs will be burning great.
