When it comes to natural weight loss and burning belly fat, you may have been like me and thought that training and cutting calories were the only ways to reach your weight loss goals. You may have never dreamed that there are fat burning foods which could cause natural weight loss and keep you from needing to spend hours in the gym trying to get rid of your belly fat. Once I reached that plateau in my weight loss journey, nothing I did seemed to matter until I discovered these 5 fat burning foods.
1. Citrus Fruit - Who would have ever thought that with all the sugar in them, an orange can be considered one of the perfect fat burning foods? It is not just oranges though, limes, grapefruit, and any other fruit which is loaded in Vitamin C helps the body release fat from where it's stored. Now, you don't need to gulp down a gallon of OJ every day as it does have tons of sugars in it, but do a little analysis and take a look at the many fruits on the market which are rich in Vitamin C which will help bring about natural weight loss.
2. Hot Peppers - You're in luck if you fancy hot Mexican cooking. Considered one of probably the most well-known fat burning foods is hot peppers. Chillies, Jalapenos, and Habaneros all have capsaicin. This unique compound has 2 benefits. First, it hurries up your metabolism for up to twenty minutes when you consume it and second, it helps with pain tolerance. No, I wouldn't advocate having a pickled Habanero just before visiting the gym, however using these foods as spice can give you more than simply enjoyment.
3. Milk - You know the old saying, "does a body good." It turns out that that catch phrase is more than just memorable advertising. Milk, and dairy goods wealthy in calcium will increase the speed of fat breakdown in the cells. If you don't like milk, taking calcium can help out a bit, but they simply aren't as effective. You'll need 3-4 servings of calcium rich dairy each day. Seeing as you are watching your waist though, look to the lower fat milks and dairy foodstuffs rather than the full-fat products.
4. Apples - Not to be bested by their citrus counterparts, apples have turned out to be fantastic body fat fighters. Turns out that the Pectin they contain encourages water absorption, encouraging hydration, and limits the ability of cells to soak up fat. Plus, they're high in anti-oxidants that helps combat different conditions including cancer. It turns out that "an apple a day will keep the doctor away" was right in more ways than one.
5. Nuts - Some nuts, like peanuts and almonds, have gotten a terrible wrap as being full of fat. Heck, a Brazil Nut just feels greasy to the touch, but that is Okay. Seems that not all fats are created equal and that some of the great fats are just packed into nuts. Furthermore, they are high in protein and since protein takes quite a bit of energy to digest, these guys help out quite a bit. On top of everything, nuts can help you feel stuffed therefore you do not consume as much. Almonds may well be nuts, however they don't seem to be crazy when it involves being a natural weight loss food.
These 5 fat burning foods have turned out to be my top secret weapon in my war against belly fat and they'll assist you to destroy belly fat too. These foods have caused natural weight loss for me and have gotten me over that hump making sure that I burn fat and lose weight fast.

Yoga is considered among the best workouts for the body and mind. The calories you burn by practicing the simplest yoga techniques for an hour are equivalent to the calories you would burn by walking in the park. When you practice yoga, you are not just exercising your body. You are also exercising the mind for concentration and tranquility to understand your body that allows you to manage it better. A Yoga workout allows you to exercise your muscles and your mind to burn the extra calories you've been accumulating.
Benefits of Yoga
Yoga has both physiological and psychological benefits. It makes your body more flexible, increases the lubrication of the joints and muscles, gets rid of your toxins, keeps you and active and healthy, and teaches you how to carry a better posture whether you are standing, sitting or lying down. But the major benefit of yoga is that it can help you shed your extra pounds by a simple workout that can be practiced by anyone and everyone. Here are a few exercises and forms of yoga that can help you bur your calories faster.
Types of Yoga
There are various types of yoga- some are gentle and some are vigorous. Hatha yoga is a gentle form of yoga that focuses on meditation and breathing exercises for flexibility of your body and tranquility of mind, but not helpful in burning fat. The two main forms of yoga that can help you lose fat are Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and Bikram yoga.
Ashtanga vinyasa yoga - Ashtanga vinyasa yoga is a series of quick and rapid asanas or movements of body, while practicing different postures, which help in burning fat. This form of yoga also save you time as you practice the asanas at a faster pace. You can burn up to 34% of your calories by an hour of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga.
Bikram yoga - Another form of yoga which is very efficient in burning fat is the Bikram yoga. Also known as Hot Yoga, and introduced by one Bikram Choudary in the 1970's, Bikram yoga is the hardest for of yoga. Bikram yoga is performed in a room with a constant temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, and consists of various postures and breathing exercises practiced for a complete hour and a half.
It is explained that when you practice Bikram yoga, the heat in the room reduces the chances of straining or injuring our muscles while stretching for different asanas. As your muscles get warmed up and get loose, you will be able to push yourself further for more difficult postures and exercises. Considering the heat and the dynamic workout, you will definitely lose more calories at a faster rate - as good as 550 calories when you take a brisk jog or run.
Yoga practices have a strict set of rules and guidelines you should follow to keep your body safe and healthy. Each and every muscle and organ of your body is exercised with various asanas performed while sitting, standing or lying down - that detoxify and increase the supply of oxygen to heart keeping you healthy and sound.

Yoga's effect on the adrenal glands is no secret, but just how much our body depends on a tiny gland called the pineal might be. Located near the center of the brain, the pineal gland reacts to bright light to produce melatonin, a serotonin derivative that controls our sleep/wake cycles.

The Pineal and Physical Health
Melatonin is not only important to healthy cell growth, but it also affects the levels of a stress hormone called cortisol. High melatonin levels reduce cortisol, allowing us to sleep at night while low melatonin levels increase cortisol, causing anxiety and disrupting our sleep patterns.
The pineal gland, varying in size from a grain of rice to that of a pea, increases in size during the first two years of childhood and then stays about the same size. Its weight, however, gradually increases after puberty; the level of melatonin falls, and the pineal gland often becomes calcified in adults. Could this evolution explain the sometimes uncanny ability of children to sense the unknown?
The Pineal and Emotional Health
The pineal gland, also known as the third eye, is associated with the sixth and seventh chakras and is believed to be our point of connection with God and higher realms of consciousness. The third eye is the seat of our intuition, inspiration, and vision. Chakra blockages in this area include control issues, over-intellectualizing, addictions, and rigidity.
Practices like meditation, prayer, and Yoga help us to clear blocked energy from the crown chakra and increase our intuition and awareness. According to "Yoga Journal," the pineal gland can convert melatonin into a powerful stimulant with psychedelic effects on the brain - another possible explanation for the benefits of meditation.
How Yoga Helps the Pineal Gland
In the journal "Medical Hypotheses," psychiatrist Eric Leskowitz of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, theorizes that the pineal gland might be the scientific explanation for what ancient Yogis described as the third eye, or crown chakra. If so, the balancing act of Yoga poses, breathing, meditation, and chanting may be all we need to mend our minds and get our circadian rhythms back in sync.
Yoga Nidra, a meditative state of deep relaxation, affects melatonin levels. It restores energy and calms the mind, but it also re-programs the subconscious thoughts and habits that keep us stuck in a state of confusion and anxiety. Science has proven that that melatonin helps us to heal faster, prevents disease, slows down premature aging, contributes to better sleep, and strengthens the immune system.
Whether we look at it from a scientific or philosophical point of view, the pineal gland plays an important role in mental, physical, and physical health. Optimal health of the entire being is Yoga's mission.

Stretching to the edge of discomfort, I shift into Triangle Pose, struggling to keep breathing, hips forward, head turned up, one arm reaching for my toes, the other for the ceiling, all while trying not to over-stretch and go over my edge into pain and possible injury.

Triangle is challenging for me, as is the entire practice of yoga, and every moment presents opportunities to stay present and learn important lessons.
5 Lessons From the Yoga Mat
It seems I can't practice a physical discipline without finding applications beyond the kinesthetic. Yoga is no exception. And since I entered the world of Bikram Yoga last fall, the instructors seem to be speaking directly to my penchant for connecting physical experiences with daily life. Here are five life lessons I've learned on the yoga mat (so far!):
#1) Be a beginner.
It's been a while since I started a new practice. I began aikido 20 years ago, and it has become a part of my life in ways that are familiar and no longer intimidating. It's fun to be a beginner again.
#2) Learn to be comfortable with the uncomfortable.
When I heard the instructor say this, I instantly imagined its daily applications: difficult conversations, conflict, presenting, saying no; the list goes on. When you can stay present under pressure--be comfortable with discomfort--you have a rare and priceless power.
#3) Keep breathing.
--through the difficult, the easy, the edge. An excellent centering practice is to notice when you hold your breath. You'll be surprised to learn how many times throughout the day you stop breathing. As soon as you notice, however, you can open your throat and start breathing again. This practice will make you more intentional about everything.
#4) Find your edge and explore it.
On the yoga mat, we find the edge: comfort/discomfort; breathing/not breathing; present/checked out. Is this too much/too little? How do I make that call?
Driving away from a recent class, I noticed at the periphery of my awareness a feeling of rushing to get home. I saw this as an edge. I could slip over the edge into that rushing space so easily. Instead I sat back and enjoyed the ride.
In daily life, we're often faced with choices that involve edges: react/stay present; resist/connect; tighten/relax; see limits/find alternatives. Instead of checking out, stay with that edge and explore it. You'll increase awareness, power and presence.
#5) Meet the resistance you feel in any posture with the breath.
Ah! When the instructor offered this nugget, I was all ears and imagination. There are many similarities between yoga and aikido, but this is the primary one: transform resistance.
She was referring to our physical and mental resistance to performing the posture. But what if I meet my resistance with my breath:
  • Every time I'm asked to try something outside my comfort zone?
  • Whenever I'm face to face with a difficult person, conversation, or situation?
  • While performing a responsibility that feels like a burden?
  • Anytime I don't like what is currently happening?
Enjoy Yourself
A page on the Bikram Yoga Portsmouth Website says: "Enjoy yourself. This is a life-changing practice. It is challenging, important and serious, but can also be a lot of fun."
Life is challenging, important and serious, too. And, it can also be a lot of fun if we remember we are all beginners learning to meet each new uncomfortable edge with the power of our awareness, breath, and presence.

In order to lose excess pounds in relatively rapid fashion, there is nothing requiring you to adopt dangerous fad diets. Rather, by following a sound dietary program and heeding some basic advice about physical activity, it really is possible to reach your weight objectives and start getting the body you have always wanted to have. Keep reading to learn how you can do it.

An extremely simple, convenient and effective method of burning a significant number of calories each and every day is to eschew the elevators at work and walk the staircases instead. If you live in an apartment building, the same advice applies when you arrive at home as well. By requiring your body to work the stairs, you will get the benefit of extra calorie burning while also working the muscles of the legs, thighs and rear end. Not only that, you will do so en route to someplace you needed to go anyhow, making the entire process a no-brainer.
In order to stay committed to your weight loss goals and keep the calorie burning going at all times, make an effort to take some form of physical exercise each and every day, even if it is relatively light in nature. You do not need to push yourself to your absolute physical limit when working out each day, but you should at least take a brisk stroll. Doing this will ensure that you do not start backsliding on your pledge to lose the weight and will help give you the calorie deficit necessary for tangible weight loss.
Another tried and true method of staying on track and achieving ultimate weight loss success is to maintain a detailed food journal. On a daily basis, take the time to write down each and every item you eat and drink from the time you wake up until you go to bed for the night. Maintaining this sort of record does a couple of useful things. First, it keeps you accountable when it comes to your dietary choices. You will start to feel ashamed to have a journal full of junk food and soda entries, so smarter choices will likely follow. Also, by adding notes about what may have been going on in your life during times of dietary slips, you will be better able to prevent similar setbacks in the future by anticipating when emotional eating binges may pose a threat.
Finally, if you live in a pedestrian or bicycle friendly area, think about leaving your car at home when running everyday errands. A quick jaunt to the corner store on foot or a nice bike ride over to Main Street can be a terrific way to burn some extra calories while having an opportunity to get to know your surroundings a bit better than you might if you drove your car and parked right in front of your destination.
Keep the preceding information close at hand as a reference while you embark on your own personal weight loss journey. By combining these great ideas with a carefully planned, balance diet, you will have the ability to shed your extra pounds and reclaim the figure you have long desired. Best wishes as you work to fulfill your true physical potential.

Do you need to get in better shape? You should develop your own weight loss program to get the silhouette you always wanted. Keep reading to learn more about weight loss and the different efficient methods you can use to get in shape.
Stay away from diet pills, crash diets and other similar methods. You will get good results on the short term with these methods but it is best to focus on transforming your lifestyle step by step to make sure you never go back to your unhealthy habits. You can only use a diet pill or a crash diet for so long and will put some weigh on again unless you adopt healthy habits for good.
Do not try losing weight too quickly. Losing two pounds a week is healthy but keep in mind that losing only one pound a week is an excellent result too. If your metabolism is not fast enough, focus on losing a pound a week. Losing more than two pounds a week is too much and your body might respond by store fat to compensate for the weight loss. Besides, you might feel weak if you lose more than two pounds a week.
Adopt a healthier lifestyle. You might be overweight because you spend too much time watching TV or sitting in front of the computer. You need to find some new hobbies to be more active. If you need to sit all day at work, find ways to be more active when you get home. You could also take advantage of your breaks to walk or do a few simple exercises on a yoga mat.
Transform your diet. If you tend to eat more than your daily recommended caloric intake, find healthy foods that will satisfy your hunger instead of eating empty calories. Eat slowly and avoid distractions so you can realize when you are full. If you tend to snack between meals, try eating five or six times a day. Prepare some small meals and spread your caloric intake throughout the day to avoid snacking.
Working out will definitely help you lose weight. Find some exercises you really enjoy and exercise at your own rhythm. It is important to start slowly, for instance by working out for twenty minutes a day. You will quickly notice an improvement and become more resistant. Once you get in better shape, look for ways to make your fitness program more challenging. You could for instance join a gym or sign up for an aerobics class.
Set some weekly or monthly goals for your weight loss program. You should focus on precise goals such as losing a specific number of pounds. Choose reasonable goals and do not feel bad if you cannot reach them on time. Reward yourself when you meet a goal, for instance by purchasing some new clothes or a gym membership. This is a good way to stay motivated throughout your weight loss program.
Follow these tips to develop your own weight loss program. You should soon reach a much healthier weight if you are properly motivated.

Losing some weight and getting an ideal silhouette is not as hard as it seems. You should go over this article if you need some help with developing an efficient weight loss program.

Do your best to get some physical activity on a daily basis. You should go for a walk or ride your bike for at least thirty minutes a day. Small changes such as taking the stairs or walking around the building during your breaks at work can make a difference on the long term. Find some new hobbies and activities to stay busy in your free time rather than watching TV or surfing the Internet.
Develop a fitness program adapted to your needs. Start very slowly with some light exercise. You can do some abs at home to target your midsection and start slimming down. Developing your midsection will help you become more resistance and you should soon be able to work out more intensely. Create different workout routines so you can exercise every other day.
Working on your cardio will help you burn a lot of calories. Running, swimming or riding a bike are excellent cardio workouts but practicing your favorite team sport or martial art is a good choice too. Start slowly by working on your cardio twice a week for thirty minutes at a time. Try working on your cardio more frequently and for longer periods of time as you build more resistance.
Learn to recognize unhealthy foods. You need to avoid foods too rich in fat, sugar and sodium such as processed foods, fried foods and fast food menu items. These foods cause you to gain a lot of weight without providing you with the vitamins and nutrients you need. Always look at the labels of the foods and the beverages you buy to assess how healthy they are. Do not let fat free or light foods fool you; these items often contain large amounts of another unhealthy ingredient.
Adopt a well-balanced diet. You do not need to eliminate anything from your diet to get in shape. You will get an ideal silhouette if you eat recommended daily portions of different types of foods. Your diet should include six to eight portions of cereal a day to get some energy. Five portions of fruits and vegetables a day will provide you with the fibers and vitamins you need. Two or three portions of meat a day are needed but you can replace meat with another source of protein. Eat dairy products, fats and oils in small quantities.
Follow a more regular schedule. You will be less likely to snack on unhealthy foods if you get used to eating three meals a day at fixed hours. Have five small meals a day if you always get hungry between meals. Avoid distractions when you eat so you can stop when you are full. If you tend to overeat, put smaller portions on your plate and choose healthy filling foods instead of empty calories.
Adopt these weight loss strategies to develop your own program. You will get good results if you take the time to transform your lifestyle for good instead of going on a crash diet.

The physical practice of yoga holds many benefits for mind, body and spirit.

By focusing our attention for longer periods of time during specific asanas (postures) we can work to release difficult emotions that over time have manifested as stiffness, aches, pains, injuries, illnesses and diseases in our body.
To understand this, let us take a step back and look at ourselves as the whole being we are. The trilogy of mind, body and spirit are truly one and thus what we think in our mind will ultimately affect our body. Otherwise, we are merely of the viewpoint that we are a disjointed, disconnected being, which simply is not true. Quantum physics teaches us that everything, including us (!) is a vibrating mass of energy. From this perspective we can see that we have the power to impact on how we channel that energy to affect the outcome, who we are.
During yoga, the breath connects us to the quantum level of energy and we can begin to work on the subtle aspects of ourselves, that we cannot see.
Although we can experience symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, these are merely the effect of an underlying cause that we may be unaware of. Certainly with anxiety and depression this is the often the case. Yoga works on a much deeper level enabling us to bring feelings to the surface that we can process and release emotions that will enable a shift leading to greater self awareness and growth.
Hips, hamstrings and back are three areas of the body where we can store deep seated emotions.
In Ashtanga yoga, Paschimottanasana (Western Intense Stretch), the seated forward bend, stretches the hamstrings, opens the hips and the back side of the body; often associated with opening up the past. Sitting with legs extended, bringing the toes towards you while pushing the heels away, lift the chest, draw in the lower abdomen engaging mula and uddiyana bandhas and fold forward over the legs, leading with the chest. Holding the posture for longer than the usual 5 breaths enables a deeper asana, connection with our inner self and allows emotions to surface. Drishti (gaze) should be to the toes, although I often find once settled deeper into the pose you can ease your neck and rest your head on your knees or beyond if comfortable. Remain with the focus on the breath and allow the synergy of breath and posture to weave its magic.
Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Posture) is a strong hip opening pose. Sitting comfortably bringing the soles of the feet together as close to the groin as possible, open your feet with your hands while gently pushing the knees towards the floor with the elbows as you do so. As you exhale and go deeper into the posture you can work your chin beyond the feet towards the floor. I have found there is a point in this pose where you really begin to feel any emotional pain as the hips open. This pain is felt physically but with careful guidance and working with the breath, you can remain in the posture comfortably for around 15-20 breaths. As you come up and the hips open you may experience the emotional release by a sudden outburst of crying. This is perfectly normal and part of the process. To finish the posture you can rest your head on your feet, finally coming up and bringing the knees back together.
Urdhva Dhanurasana (Upward Bow Posture) in Ashtanga yoga is the first of the finishing sequence and a strong back bend that is preceded by several warm up back bends. This asana opens the hips, chest and back of the body. It is vital to work with breath, safely guiding you into the back bend. It can be achieved by pushing up from the floor (as in a crab like posture) or dropping back, which takes time to work towards. As you bend backwards, energy travels through the spine and cleanses the nervous system. Backbends work to clear emotional blockages stored along this channel, releasing strong emotions. Backbends can be a little daunting and are best practiced under the guidance of a teacher who can help you through the obstacles.
The goal of yoga is self realisation; to understand and accept ourselves. Yoga is to focus on the breath uniting mind, body and spirit, enabling a connection with our true self and higher energy that is life force (prana) and that which permeates every living thing. Through the avenue of the breath yoga enables us to connect and gently bring to the surface emotions that have become 'stuck' in our bodies. The emotions stored as blockages in the body manifest as pain, injury, illness or disease. As well as yoga postures working to release emotions and connect with the cause of these, the accumulation of breath flowing through the body works to clear blockages and enable energy to flow more freely. Bandhas (subtle energy locks) used in Ashtanga yoga, keep energy circulating freely inside the body. It is said that a person who is healthy has energy flowing freely within the body, whereas a person who is unwell has energy flowing out of the body.
Ultimately, yoga cleanses and purifies the mind, body and spirit, healing from the inside out, leaving the whole system refreshed, rejuvenated; restoring homeostasis, our natural balance and harmony.

The term yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Yuj', which means, "joining, union, to unite". The original meaning of yoga is the process of uniting the individual with the Universal Self.

Patanjali (2500-4000 years ago) defined yoga as, "the conscious process of gaining mastery of the mind." By mastering the mind, we are able to reach our original state and unite with our Universal Self.
The methodology used to accomplish this goal includes many therapeutic techniques that allows the practitioner to experience true health. There are five layers of existence that are healed through ancient yogic techniques.
The Five Layers of Human Existence: Pancha Kosa
A human being is said to have five layers of existence. Nurturing and healing each of these layers helps to unite the individual with the Universal Self.
1. Annamaya Kosa (Physical Layer). The first layer consists of the physical frame - the tissues and cellular structures that comprise the human body. It is composed of the Five Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Space. The food that we consume nourishes each of these elements.
A healthy yogic diet, yoga asanas, loosening exercises and kriyas are all techniques employed to remove ailments and symptoms at the physical level.
2. Pranayama Kosa (Life Force/Prana Layer). Life force is the basic fabric the universe. It comprises all things inside and outside of our body. The Physical Layer extends from the Prana Layer. A harmonious flow of prana helps nourish every cell in the body. In fact, this flow is what gives cells life. Prana flows through subtle channels, called Nadis, which cover the entire body like a vast electrical grid.
Pranayama is a series of breathing techniques that removes random agitations and disruptions in the flow of prana. This set of yogic practices helps remove ailments in the Pranayama Kosa layer.
3. Manomaya Kosa (Mental Layer). This subtle layer heavily influences the Pranayama Kosa and Annamaya Kosa. Manomaya Kosa dictates the aspect of one's personality. It is where the mind carries out various functions: perception, memory and ego.
A regular meditation practice allows the mind to relax and, with dedicated practice, can ultimately lead to super consciousness (Samadhi).
4. Vijnanamaya Kosa (Wisdom, Knowledge, Intelligence, Intuition Layer). This layer continuously guides us through life. It instructs us to take, or not take, a course of action. It helps the Manomaya Kosa master the basic instincts of life.
Understanding is the key to operating the Vijnamaya Kosa. Upanisads are the treasury of this understanding - the redeemer of all misery and obsession. The lack of knowledge is what represents wrong habits, agitations and suffering. Correct knowledge immolates attachments, agitations and obsessions - freeing the mind from mental agitation.
5. Anandamaya Kosa (Bliss and Cosmic Consciousness Layer). Anandamaya Kosa is void of any emotional states - it a state of silence, harmony and perfect health. It is the most subtle layer of human existence. It is only reached after one crosses each of the above layers, one by one. One must journey inwards towards the Universal Self with constant self-awareness, drive to improve oneself and the power of auto-suggestion (self-hypnosis).
According to the yoga texts, Anandamaya Kosa is when one is healthiest, in perfect harmony and possesses balance of all faculties. At Vijnanamaya Kosa, there are movements that are channelized in the correct direction. As one advances to the Manomaya Kosa, imbalances often start to appear. This can greatly disrupt one's progress.
The Need for Hypnotherapy
The mind becomes continuously agitated throughout interactions with the world. This leads to imbalances within the Manomaya Kosa, called adhis, which is the Sanskrit word for stress. When stress is left unchecked, it causes violent fluctuations in the flow of prana through the nadis (Pranayama Kosa). When the pranayama flows through the wrong path, without proper rhythm and harmony, it affects the Annamaya Kosa and results in various ailments. These ailments are known in modern medicine as psychosomatic diseases.
Unwanted thoughts, behaviors, habits, feelings phobias and situational reactions are programmed deep within the Manomaya Kosa (mind layer). This deep seeded programming creates inner conflicts and mental agitation that is harmful to overall health, asana practice, pranayama and meditation. In fact, this programming can become so debilitating that meditation is no longer practical.
It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for someone to de-program this programming without the right tools. This is when self-hypnosis and hypnotherapy are used. Auto-suggestion (self-hypnosis), sankalpa, positive imagination and contemplation are all yogic techniques that help alleviate this mental agitation.
This is why I do not separate the science of hypnotherapy, self-hypnosis and yoga. They are all yogic practices as they help heal the five layers of human existence.
Dr. Sohail Ebady is has been a yoga teacher for 21 years and hypnotherapist for 20 years. He immediately recognized the need for these seemingly separate sciences to be intertwined. He created the Patanjali Institute - Yoga Teacher Training Thailand to impart Yoga Teacher Training and Hypnotherapy training to students who wish to become effective healers.

Before I explain the benefits of yoga, let me explain the importance of our circulation system. Besides our limbs and brain functions, our circulatory system is just as important in keeping us going. It is also known as the cardio-vascular system consisting of our heart and blood vessels.

The hearts function is to supply blood to various parts of the body. That being said, our blood includes vital nutrients and oxygen which our organs require. Through our blood, those same nutrients and oxygen travels through our vessels.
Our heart comprises of four components which have a different function. The component on the upper right is what helps to collect our flowing blood from all over the body before proceeding to the lower right component.
The lower right component directs the blood into our lungs for purification. The purified blood is then sent back to the heart. This time within upper left ventricle from where it is transferred into the lower left compartment before emerging as clean and new blood to the rest of our body.
The blood operates mainly through main arteries which are thick tube like structures coming from our heart right in our body chest. The arteries spread into many sub arteries that in turn will split into thin-walled capillaries.
Those capillaries intertwined with our organs directly. Because of their thin walls they distribute oxygen and nutrition to our organs and tissues which require them the most. The old resources are removed from the tissue and back into the capillaries to be worked upon within specialized veins to transfer the impure blood back into heart to restart the whole process.
This is a tough job as the pressure has reduced this far from the heart so the veins are helped by valves to regulate the flow.
Another vital information to take note of is the way the circulatory system is set up is that it comprises of two main parts: the blood and the lymphatic system. It is the job of the lymphatic system to remove waste from the blood system.
The two different systems run almost next to each other but while the blood system has a pump as in the heart, the lymphatic system does not possess a single organ designed to function regularly. This job is handled by our muscles, which operates our lymphatic system by contracting and expanding. That is of course where Yoga comes in.
Yoga is not just a workout on our body but our minds as well. Our bodies we move about everyday with various poses and expressions are what help in clearing blockages within our circulatory system and making sure that everything is flowing at regular intervals from time to time.
It also helps in strengthening our muscles effectively over time with some effort on our part. This is also what helps to pump the lymphatic system and enable our bodies to function the way our minds want.
Because of that, people practising Yoga regularly can expect to achieve a greatly enhanced immune response system and will not be easily affected by diseases, infections and other illnesses.
Moreover those benefits began prior to that. Yoga sessions normally commerce with a series of standing exercises touching on long slow breathing exercises.
Those breathing exercises are typical to all kinds of yoga and compel us to focus on our breath. They also act as enlightening path trough our bodies each time we take a fresh breath.
The exercises are created specifically in the way that people do not feel restricted as to where and when they can practice in the way they want instead of normal yet slow breathing pattern.
Since our breathing are longer and deeper, our oxygen intake rises. Coupled with the enticing effects those exercises have on our blood circulation, the oxygen is easily distributed to our body muscles.
If those muscles, along with our other organs and tissues are not obtaining the necessary oxygen and nutrients, we will become vulnerable to all diseases and sicknesses.
Having said that, Yoga is certainly a great help to the complex and interlinking circulation system. For it understands the basis and importance of the system and restores balance to our bodies.
